Christmas time is my favourite part of the year and this year there are so many reasons to be even more excited! It’s mine and Pauls first Christmas in our own home and our first one as parents too which adds even more magic to the occasion. Although Evangeline has no concept of Christmas right now we still want to capture all of the memories to show her in the future and photography is by far the best way to do it! Earlier in the year, we booked Eve in for a Christmas photo shoot with Kelly – the same photographer who shot her as a newborn at just 6 days old. Although I love taking my own photographs I was so impressed with Kelly’s work and how she captured our daughter so beautifully so we decided to go back to her once again and were not disappointed. When we received our final photographs we couldn’t wait to create some personalised pieces for our home just in time for Christmas and we did it all on the Tesco Photo website.

We were really keen to use one of Evangeline’s photographs on a Greetings Card to send out to our closest friends and family. The website was so simple to use when creating the cards and there were lots of options of fonts and the layout of text on the inside. This definitely gave the cards a lovely touch without us having to write all of them out, all we had to do was write who they were for and the rest was done for us – besides the 20 envelopes that I had to lick! The quality of the printing was stunning and we know that our loved ones are going to enjoy having her cheeky face displayed in their homes, especially the relatives that live too far away to see her this Christmas. We also chose one of our favourite shots to be made into a Photo Block for our fireplace, the chunky feel to the block looks and feels more luxurious than a canvas and it’s so easy to move around and display. We will be storing this away and bringing it out every December along with the rest of our decorations!

After receiving our photos back I would definitely love to make Christmas shoots a tradition for Evangeline, obviously for as long as she allows it! Photographs help to capture memories that truly last forever and to have them on display in our home makes it even more special. I’ve even ordered a little present for Paul (from Evangeline) that I can’t wait for him to open on Christmas morning! There are so many options when it comes to the Personalised Photo Gifts on the website and it’s so handy not only just for Christmas but for any time of the year. The process of creating something takes just minutes and it’s so simple to create beautiful keepsake gifts for yourself or your loved ones. If you’re feeling last minute then please try not to panic, there’s still one week to go and there’s a whole range of products that are available to order for same day collection at your nearest Tesco store. Happy shopping and Merry Christmas!
