HELLO I’M ALICE, IT’S NICE TO MEET YOU!

I am a 25 year old independent fashion designer and blogger based in Blackpool in the North West of England. I live with my daughter Evangeline who was born in 2018. My website is a platform for me to feature both my blog and my professional work in the fashion industry. My blog journey back in January 2016 after being bed-bound with a back injury. At that time my biggest passion was makeup and skincare so I was heavily focused on beauty related posts. I wanted to have a platform to share my thoughts on what I was buying with my friends and readers and from that point I haven’t looked back!

In July 2017 I graduated from The University Of Central Lancashire with a First Class Fashion Design degree. Along with this, I spent my final year creating my Graduate collection ‘Cry Baby Club’ that was shown at London Graduate Fashion Week in 2017. It was a huge success and sparked up a lot of media attention, it went on to be selected in the top 100 of 600 collections shown. From this, I have been lucky enough to work and collaborate with high-quality brands, influencers, photographers and stylists. Even 3 years on my pieces are still in demand and my biggest achievement to date has been my garments going on tour with the singer Kate Nash.

In 2018 my miracle baby girl, Evangeline was born and my blog content had a huge shift. I started writing about my pregnancy, my struggles with cervical ectropion and my blog certainly evolved and changed with me. I now write a number of different posts categories including Beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle, Pregnancy and Parenting and I really enjoy the audience that I’ve built up over the years. 2019 was a year of juggling motherhood, blogging, fashion opportunities and returning to work after maternity leave. It was certainly overwhelming but my fashion portfolio grew, along with my blogging opportunities and I started working with brands on AD’s and campaigns which I really enjoyed!

My biggest year in blogging and content creation has definitely been 2020. I became a single parent and threw myself into what I love doing best, along with raising my little girl. I’ve seen my audience almost double and had the chance to work with a whole variation of different brands on exciting content. It’s really made me fall back in love with creating content and I’ve already got plans for the next year where I’ll be starting to make an income for my hard work.
